SPONSOR CON-X 2023: Interview Linda Noskova, Director Global Sales Welcomebeds

We interviewed Linda Noskova from Welcomebeds, who for the third time are taking part in CON-X 2023 as a sponsor. Today, she explains the prospects for this year, as well as what it means to them to participate in the conference as a sponsor.

- We live in a period of high uncertainty, in which the main challenge for managers is decision-making. At Con-X we will talk about this, but could you tell us about your own case? How do you deal with decision-making in your company?

- When making a decision, we evaluate all the possibilities and weigh all the pros and cons. They say that "the information is power" but it must be processed, organized and delivered to the persons in charge of decision making, otherwise it doesn't bring any benefit. 
Hence, the ongoing communication with other market players and with the internal departments is vital for us to understand how we can align our goals in the most efficient way when following the main strategy of the company.  
 

- What do you see as the main trends in tourism distribution today?

- I think Bleisure Travel and Sustainable Tourism trends will keep growing. Social media and mobile will remain important shopping window customer facing. Suppliers shall focus on API and channel managers in order to have their distribution as wide as possible, to be able to reach as many clients as possible. 

- Have you taken daring decisions in your company, and can you tell us some anecdotes?

- Making daring decisions is always on the daily menu of a sales department. 
In my case I've always had a strong faith in the business opportunities in Asia despite all its challenges, and now it is one of our most fast-growing regions. Anecdotes... I have thousands. Meet me at the next Con-X event and I will share with you a couple of them. 

 

- What are your perspectives for this year? Where do you want to go?


- This year is going to be the breakthrough year for Welcomebeds since we finished our merger into Avoris Corporation. 
Our aim is to deliver Welcomebeds´ products to international markets, extend our presence in Asia and focus on business development in America. 
 

Why should CON-X participants talk to you, what can you offer them?

- If they are looking for a solid supplier (backed by Spain´s nº 1 tourism corporation Avoris) with good price and value products in Spain, Mediterranean beach destinations, European cities and Caribbean they shall definitely integrate Welcomebeds as their next supplier. 
 

- What is your experience with the events organized by TravelgateX, would you recommend them to other companies? 

- Con-X event is a great place for meeting both existing and new buyers and sellers, exchanging latest news and tourism trends. 
Overall, a great event for creating business opportunities, I would definitely recommend it.
