Camara Abierta 2.0, the technology program at RTVE, published last weekend, a report on how TravelgateX works and what is the product offered to their customers.
Jose Díaz, CCO; Abel Basalo, COO and Oscar Pérez, CTO, have explained everything related to business, technology and online tourism connections that TravelgateX makes worldwide.
Jose Diaz was the first to explain the keys to the business: “TravelgateX allows companies worldwide, many of them the largest in the world, to connect to exchange services. From our office in Palma de Mallorca, we are a world reference in connectivity technology in the world of tourism”.
In the other hand, Abel Basalo focused on the product: “Over the years we have evolved what we have been offering from our origin, connectivity. Turning into a platform technology, adding services that help distribute the product to the suppliers and add business logic to customers”.
And finally, Oscar Perez summed up what related to the technological advances of the marketplace: “We started working alone with Azure because of the ease of working with a cloud and in the update, we are working with 5 different clouds, among which is Azure and Google Cloud, and another one of the great changes that we have applied in the platform”.
The report was recorded at the headquarters of TravelgateX located in the Parc Bit of Palma de Mallorca.
