The Maritime Museum of Barcelona welcomed on November 22 the referents of the impact economy of Spain in the V Ship2B Impact Forum, the event organized by the Ship2B Foundation with the aim of inspiring entrepreneurs, large companies and investors about the potential of the economy with triple profitability: economic, social and environmental.
The TravelgateX team was accompanying the founders of Omnirooms whom themselves participated in the presentation pitch at the Startup Expo held in the same venue, along with a score of emerging technology companies in the sector, who intended to inspire about the potential of the social and environmental economy.
Omnirooms and TravelgateX signed an agreement last month that will open up opportunities and facilitate online bookings of accessible hotel rooms for people with reduced mobility. Through this agreement, Omnirooms will make available its know-how to customers who so request it, and TravelgateX will tout the technology so that hotels and operators can categorize these rooms and make them available to those who wish to book this type of product at Omnirooms.com.
Pedro Hernández, CEO of Omnirooms explained that “the idea is to end the discrimination suffered by people with reduced mobility in the 21st century when it comes to booking their vacations online”.
