Xunta de Galicia and Camino de Santiago come to Mallorca to learn about technological trends in global tourism. Xunta de Galicia and Camino de Santiago will sponsor, for the second time, the international conference CON-X 2023, which will take place in Mallorca on 10 May and will be attended by world leaders in the global tourism sector.
Galicia, located in northwestern Spain, is a region rich in culture, history and natural beauty. Known for its delicious gastronomy, picturesque villages and breathtaking landscapes, Galicia attracts visitors from all over the world. However, one of the main attractions of this region is the Camino de Santiago, one of the most important and popular pilgrimage routes in the world.
The Xunta de Galicia, the regional government of Galicia, has recognised the value of the Camino de Santiago as a major tourist attraction and has invested in its promotion and maintenance. In addition, the Xunta de Galicia has supported the holding of international tourism-related events and conferences, such as CON-X 2023 in Mallorca, where the latest trends and technologies in the global tourism sector will be discussed.
By supporting CON-X 2023, the Xunta de Galicia and the Camino de Santiago will have the opportunity to be recognised by tourism industry leaders from around the world and to learn about new strategies and technologies that could further enhance the visitor experience.
Mallorca will once again be at the center of the global B2B hotel distribution scene thanks to Con-X 2023. On 10 May, more than 350 executives representing the most influential companies in the hotel distribution industry will attend a conference to discuss new technological trends in the market and the use of artificial intelligence; its personalization and depersonalization.
"Uncut: Now it's personal" is the name of the conference, which opens the door to inspiring personal experiences that have succeeded against all odds in other areas. "This time, speakers will delve into personalization, how the chatbot revolution is already affecting travel and how it will develop in the future," says Pedro Camara, CEO of TravelgateX.
