Charlie Marsh from Leavetown: “TravelgateX provides a scalable solution to our business”

Charlie Marsh is the Director of Global Markets at Leavetown (B2B brand known as Jetstream) and in this online interview, she tells us about her experience working with the TravelgateX team.
- Why did you decide to use TravelgateX?
- We met the TravelgateX team at WTM in London last autumn and it was love at first sight. We had a world-leading technology integration with Airbnb and we needed to scale our supply side integrations and partnerships quickly to seize as much of the unique moment as possible. Basically, TravelgateX allowed us to scale much quicker than we could have on our own.
- What is in your perspective the USP of our Platform?
- TravelgateX offers both suppliers and sellers of travel product the ability to scale both supply and/or distribution at a much quicker rate than anyone one company can do on their own. And in the world of technology and travel-tech, speed is everything! And they do this wrapped with good old fashioned customer service.
- Which departments in your company are in contact with the platform?
- We’re still a relatively small, ‘all hands of the deck’, start-up and almost everyone in our company has had some contact with TravelgateX. When we first started working together we were excited to find a company that had such similar core values to ours. As a result, Luisa and team have been a great help with my recent move to Majorca and the lengthy process of opening a company here. Our Vancouver based Tech Team along with Matt our Channel Coordinator and mapping expert are in regular (nearly daily) contact with the team at TravelgateX, and we’re very grateful that the team stay at work late to talk to us!
- What aspects of TravelgateX do you find most valuable?
- The speed at which they were able to connect us to some of our most important supply channels. The access to a near limitless number of partners.
- How has Jetstream benefited from a closer partnership with TravelgateX?
- Introductions to supply channels, TravelgateX’s great relationship with supply channels has enabled us to jump the queue with a number of integrations.
