By now you’ve probably heard about the importance of collecting big data. Any business willing to expand and succeed in the industry needs to have this information in-hand. But in spite of knowing that you need to collect that information, understand it might not be so simple. It requires knowledge and a team member who can translate the data into coherent reports.

In the last 5 years, we’ve seen significant advances and changes in FinTech and online payments. Some of those new technologies have arrived so quickly and impacted the travel industry, and the B2B payments landscape radically, that it made it quite difficult for businesses to adapt themselves to the market.

The Bit Foundation organized a conference and a workshop on GraphQL.

The TravelgateX team participated in the closing of the first Conector Travel program at the Caixa Forum in Palma alongside with entrepreneurs and startups who presented their elevator pitches to local investors. The Demo Day had a round table in which Pablo Sánchez who’s in charge of the Metasearch Business Development at Mirai, Pello Meaurio, Director of Consumer Experience at Ávoris, Pedro Camara TravelgateX CEO and mentor of the startup accelerator. The moderator of the table was Pep Lluís Pons, General Director of Innovation and Research of the Government of the Balearic Islands.
